Ok so I am thinking about getting a hood for my lighting but I still really like being able to see in the top.. any suggestions?! I already have a clamp light but I now realise that I need 2 lights uva/heating and uvb, for now the 10 galloner is good for monday, until I can afford a new tank ( I just saw a 30 gallon w/ 2 stands for 30 bucks on craigslist waiting on them to email me back :!: ) anyways 2 clamp lights are not going to fit on that tank so whats a gal to do? Also cheap reccomended brands for uvb please!!! :)

I've found trying to fit 2 lights on a 10-gallon tank a challenge.

What I've sometimes wound up doing is clamping one and setting the other on something like hardware cloth or an oven rack over the basking area.

I've also put one light into a floor lamp that's adjustable and positioned it over the basking area next to a clamped lamp.

You could also get a lampstand (Zoo-Med makes them) and hang one light in that.

Getting that bigger tank would give you more options in positioning the lights.

I really like what grey goose did for his lighting setup:

It's very modern and fully adjustable :)
