Ok so I recently cleaned my aquaclear filter and went it started up it took a realtively long time to prime even though I filled it with water (i use both extensions though) and now when it started it seems weaker. It sorta looks like this..

It's a poor drawing but i think you can get the idea. Anyway, is this a problem or just something I've never noticed?

The water level might not be high enough.

It's actually higher than I had it..it's about two inches from the top with two extensions for the intake.

Is the filter completely level? There is a small black adjustable wedge thingamajig that you can use to keep level against the glass.

If you tilt the filter forward, does the flow improve?

Do you have the flow lever on the max setting?

Yes, yes.

I just played with the intake tube and made the filter level. It looks better now but it drips a little..I think it's fine though, thanks :)
