It is called the Cascade International Filter 400. Does anyone know if it does a good job filtering the tank??

How big is your tank? It says that it is only for a 20 gallon tank. It is fairly new, so I don't think anyone has it yet. If you have a small tank, and can't get a canister filter, then I think you should try it out, and come back, and tell us how it did. It is only $20.00, and you can always return it.

Good luck!!

Little specks? Could it be tiny air bubbles? I'm not really sure what they could be, give it a few days, and see if it sucks 'em up.

I have a Cascade 100 on a ten gallon fish tank with tetras and it works really well. I was impressed with how well it kept the water clean.

Ok, I have tried the filter and it sucks!! It makes a bunch of noise and it has a huge current, which my turtles hate! It is also hard to clean out, does not do a good job on the water, and takes up a LOT of room. I am taking it back to the store as soon as i can. Also, it stopped working the other day!!!

Hey, i just put it in my 10 gallon tank and it works GREAT! It takes up lots of room though, you really have to have it almost all the way under the water if you want it to work. Just thought that I would tell you this!:)

When you're a deadite skeleton, life isn't filled with a lot of options. So they make the best of it by playing dead – Which is why we like to introduce them to Mr. Shotgun, who doesn't give them the opportunity to pretend there anything but Chalk.

Thanks for the heads up.
Although i rather save a few bucks and make a canister filter of my own.In a site they show you how, so hopefully on vacation or something i'll work on it.
