i bought all elite stuff 4 my wee guys tank and i was told when buyin it that i didnt need an airpump in his tank but to be honest i just kinda went ahead and bought it because i kinda thought well it cant do any harm and popped an airstone in the tank Harvey seems to like the bubbles he trys in vain to catch them it really is amusing to watch put i was just wondering in general if most people put an sir pump in thier tanks? the person i got Harvey off only had a filter in his tank and a turtle dock and that was it i have a large turtle dock in one corner and a medium one in the other corner just so he has a good choice i wouldn't like to think he didnt have an option he has done more swiming since the airstone was put in so i must be doing something right for someone who only entered the turtle world on monday and now completely obbessed. did massive amount of research as well so i dont turn into one of those owners who just gets a pet turtle cos its cool. anyhows big kisses from Harvey the wonder turtle.

Some use it for aeration if they can't get their filter outlet to agitate the water surface sufficiently. Some choose to use it for decoration or as entertainment for their turtle. Either of these are good reasons :)
