Is there any filter I can use with two tanks simultaneously?

I've never heard of anyone wanting to do this. What have you decided the advantages are over having individual filters for each tank?

Well one tank is a lot smaller then the other and they need to be kept apart due to safety reasons. So it would be easier space wise to have only one for both tanks. So I guess there aren't any made for two at once then?

what u can do is use a sump. have 2 intakes(one form each tank) and 2 outtakes(one to each tank)
it might be a little tricky to work it out tho.
