Hey guys,

I'm looking at getting a bigger tank for my sliders, where do you go?

I've tried searching the web, but came up with a bunch of goose chases

The best place is craigslist, and other local classifieds/yard sales. You just need to be patient. If you're looking for a new tank up to 55 gallons, I know the Petco 1 gallon per doallar sale was running last month, it might still be.

Agreed with Steve, local is best for aquariums. You don't want to pay for freight shipping on a large tank. Local pet stores get theirs from distributers. There aren't many internet retailers that sell large aquariums due to the shipping costs.
Ebay might be another source - just select the option for local sellers only.

Craigslist is best to find local deals, but if your really want something brand new, and live near one of Glass Cages delivery routes, and can live with the delivery schedule, they have some nice tanks. http://www.glasscages.com/?sAction=Deliv
