Hello!
Monday i am getting a Fluval 304 filter for my turtle.
I want to know how good is that filter and what do you think about it.

I had one and I didn't like it. It was leaky and the handles cracked twice (after I had it replaced). I'm better at filter maintenance now but I probably still wouldn't recommend it over and XP filter.

Fluval's can be quirky.....Most of the keepers here go with the XP line. But if you can get a 304 at a good price, go for it. (Hagen stopped making the '04's, so don't pay full price).

Heres my issue with the 304. Used it for a year on a 50 gal tank with my turtle babies. It clogged up almost weekly, ran poorly, and now the seal went bad and it wont even close properly. I believe it is a waste of money and would recommend the Rena or another type of canister, Eheim if you have the money.
Anytime you see a turtle up on top of a fence post, you know he had some help.
