I sort of see the money as a nice bonus, but I am far more concerned with enjoying my work. I think that it is tragic when people spend 40+ hours a week just wanting to escape their job. That's quite a chunk of time to be suffering in this one short life! If you love what you do, it makes a huge difference in your quality of life.

You're absolutely right. I've had a lot of jobs in my day, and this one is by far the best! Every day is something new, it's never the same!

So when the Tertule's away, the guppies will play!

Ok goose, I don't need anything on the cellular level. I just want to investigate turtle terds, and make sure everything is copacetic in the intestines.

As a matter of fact, I spent 4 hours in physics lab last night playing with mirrors and lenses, making microscopes, telescopes, optical illusions (which is really trippy with what you can do with smoke and mirrors).

And for starchick, your life is not pointless. I love doing carpentry. I built this tank stand for our turtles that could literally double as a personal stage for someone wanting to practice to be on American Idol....and getting the moulding done for us was a little taxing on the nerves (pesky trapezoids)

Iac637 does not need anymore coats, we just moved and she has a bazillion shoes, and one half a bazillion coats. BUT...now our turtles have their own room!
