Ok so im going to get a new tank soon and i would like your opinions on filters. I was looking at the Xp4 filter and i was also looking at the Eheim 2026 Professional II. In your opinions which one would be best. give me you pros and your cons. ohh one more thing the tank is going to be 125 gallons and i'll probably just put 100 gallons give or take.

Thanx in advance, Vivi

You might also want to consider the Fluval FX5. I haven't used either of these, but Eheim is a highly regarded brand, XP series are easy to maintain and the FX5 is a monster.

If you're looking at Eheim, look at the 2028. I don't know what the difference is between the 2026(?) and 2028, but the latter comes very highly recommended. A few members have one, but I haven't seen them on the forums in a while.

Ideally, you want input from members who are actually using the filters you're considering for specific information.
