I went to Pet Zone today ( a ma and pa type of pet store) and since I was stupid and broke one of Michelangelo's plant decoration thingies (I never really liked it after it went into his big tank as it seemed unsafe and lo and behold it was!!) I figured I had best replace what I had broke. So I go to this pet store and I wanted some new plants, no more decoration holdy things, just plants, but my problem was they had no suction cup ones and the other ones had the plastic bottoms that you stick rocks in. So I got to looking around really good and I found this brand called Plants +Plus. The bottoms of the plants are solid, so you don't have to put any rocks in them and they are heavy too. They had these plants in all different sizes and types so I kinda went awall and bought like ten of them. They are authentic plants (I guess) as the top of the packages say authentic pond plant or authentic underwater plant. But I thought I would share this as I really like the brand so far and how the plants look. Plus they have nice long stems on the plants so that your turtle can swim under them without getting leaves all around him, as the leaves mainly are up top.
She is mine and I shall call her Michelangelo!

pictures?

I was able to find plant garlands, like on chains at the local auction site. I LOVE them. I can cut it to any length I need and use a suction cup at the bottom and top of tank to string it on to keep it stable, or anywhere else. Best part, only $4 for 6 feet.

I would love to see the ones you found!
