can i have a reptisun compact fluorescent bulb 5% or 10% uvb at 6 inches from the turtle? will this be too close?

I think you have a bigger problem with patience. You made one thread already, be patient, we do this on our FREE time, we do NOT get paid to sit here all day long and answer every question you have. When someone has the answer to your question they'll post it.

5% is probably the better choice if it has to be only 6 inches from the turtle. I think the 10% would be better at a distance of 12 inches.
