General Care Discussion :: No poop...

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I had fed my Tortarita on friday a guppy which she ate in one gulp. But since then she hasn't pooped. I clean the tank thursday so the water was crystal clean. And then on Saturday I gave her a few pellets and today she seems hungry but I may wait to feed her. It seems to me as if she hasn't digested the guppy yet. How long should I wait before getting worried. Her tank is Supper clean no poop anywhere only thing i see are peelings of skin, it seems that her hour aday outside really has her peeling. Although she looks healthier then ever. Clean green shell, and body. Any clues... :)

What kind of filtration do you have? Is it possible she went when you weren't looking and it got sucked up?

I'de be impressed if the poop got sucked up, but basically the turtle may have ate it. You can go days without seeing any waste though you should stick to a regular feeding schedule. She should be fine unless you have gravel in your tank which can impact your turtle.

Ok her filters a basic water flow, but yeah she seems as normal as every other day. So ok I was just getting a little worried because I'm use to seeing some type of poop on the bottom of the tank. But ok I'll just continue with her normal diet, and schedule. Thank you!! :-)
