Habitat - Indoor :: cleaned EVERYTHING out in the rain =/

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

so the filter was getting a tad bit icky, so the water was also! and then the rock formation got some green algae growing on it.. and so this morning the first thing i did was clean the tank.
and clean everything in it.
but it just so happened to be raining outside, and my mom just cleaned the bath tub so i wasnt going to do that all in the bathtub, or the kitchen sink, because its in the kitchen.
so outside it was .
then i had to bring everything inside and i had to rinse it all off in a bucket of clean, non chemicaled water.
and here is the finished product.

the heater is underneath the filter, the rocks are only there to support hte plants and nimrod is up on the basking platform..where he has been for quite a while.
and here is just a comparison to nimrod.. and one of the syringes i have to use to give him his medicine and his icky baby food.
{ this one is a clickable. and the stuff inside the syring is some of his morning medicine}

Poor little Nimrod! He's so small and sweet but looks so sad. And now he has a beautiful, clean inviting home. I sure hope he gets better soon so he can enjoy it.

I hope little Nimrod feels better soon! He doesn't look too happy in the pic. Something to think about maybe in the future: Silicone a few of those river rocks and the base of those plastic plants together with some aquarium silicone. That way you don't have all of those rocks at one end and the possibility of them toppeling. Then when Nimrod feels better he can place his plants where he wants them!

I had to do the exact same thing today, but not first thing in the morning (it was rainy here in the morning too). I waited till it cleared up a bit. :P Nimrod's tank looks beautiful now.
