Looks like a RES, sometimes they don't have red ears, sometimes they are yellow or orange.

Yup they are both RES like kevin said some have yellowish organish ears and some have yellow green.Weird huh

yes.. but i don't see any ears at all. do they color in later?

Some RES just don't have the read ears. :? Did you check both of their plastrons to see if they had similar markings? If the underside is all yellow with no markings and there are no red ears then it's probably a Yellow-Belly Slider.

Oobie, YBS have a yellow blotch like a fat "S" right behind their eyes.

ive never seen a turtle dock that color...! its cool. mines yellow and brown.. not gray like yours
