I saw my little brother watching some stupid show on nick jr. with no educational value at all, and then I saw an animated singing turtle on it! The show is pretty stupid but I thought the turtle was adorable. :?

^^^ Lol!
Why did you show your turtle? Maybe he didn;t like the way the hamster looked at him?

I wonder if they are mistreating the turtle they are taking pictures of for this show to get him in those poses. And what do they do when it gets bigger and to large for the show? Discard it?

Look at the graphics. Don't they use photos of animals to animate that show?

They take different shots of the turtle in every angle, then import it on the computer, with different programs they edit the pictures basicly making a 3d turtle on the computer

You should see the habitat he lives in. It is one of those long "critter carriers," and the only thing in it is: gravel, a river rock half way out of the water, and about three inches of water.

NO heater, NO basking lights, NO filter, NO NOTHING!!!!

My little sister says he looks like my RES.

It barely shows the animals in their cages--they leave the cage at the beginning for their adventure and don't come back until the end. It doesn't show the animals ever being cared for or anything of that sort. I doubt very many people base how to take care of their turtle on an animated kids show. In a world where technology rules, most people will at least research how to take care of the turtle properly after purchase.
Yes, it may not show accurately how to care for turtles besides the fact that Tuck eats veggies (although it's always celery), but it's an excellent show in teaching kids how to work together and to help others.
I almost named my turtle Tuck because of Wonderpets.
