I can't see the link. How big is the tank they're in? A guide is to use 3-5 watts per gallon of water. I use 5 watts per gallon, so for a 20-gallon tank, I'd get a 100-watt heater. Make sure it's fully submersible and has a thermostat so you can control the temp. Many people on the forum use a heater called a Stealth by Visitherm. Tronics and Ebo-Jagers are also reputable.

Obviously, the name is blocked so as not to advertise (through good or bad attention) on this site. Any internet site willing to sell hatchlings for dollars through the mail is not reputable, as there is no way they take the health of their animals into consideration. There are however several reputable places to buy heaters from. You can also buy them in-store at petstores.

Ok Steve, delete this if you must, but I gotta say it...

T U R T L E S A L E . C O M IS BAD!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

They regularly sell sick or dying turtles and when a customer calls to complain they are very rude and insist that you return the sick turtle for a replacement only, no refunds, no compensation for vet bills, nothing. You are then forced to either keep and care for the turtle yourself (if it's still alive) or return it to them where it will surely be destroyed or resold as is. You will then receive a replacement turtle which will most likely be dead or dying, and so it continues until you give up. Either way, they have their money and they can resell the same sick, dead or dying turtle a few times if it's done quickly enough. :(
