My turtle has this white spot on his shell. Do you know what it is??? Sorry about the awful pictures! The white spot is on the left side of its shell.

And if you can't tell what the white spot is...when the shell it totally dry...when you look at the spot it looks like little bumps. And it wont come off when i srub the shell. Is there any treatments for this????

Thanks everyone for anwering!!!!!!!

I can't tell anything from those pics. Have you seen similar pictures of what you are describing on the forum or elsewhere? Is the white stuff spreading?

The only white I see is near the spine. Other than that, I see nothing on the left side that looks like a white spot. Is the area to the left of the spine what y you're talking about? If so, it looks like the shell has been rubbed or roughed up somehow.

If that's not the area, try to get a closer pic of the shell dry. About how long has your turtle had this?

she has had it for a coupple of weeks and its not spreading(not yet??) and it is only in one spot. You can tell when the shell is dry because the white spot is REALLY sticking out

Can you draw an arrow to the spot you see or post a better dry picture? I don't think anyone can see what you're referring to.
