I'm so so so so so so sorry.... But yes I'm a Vols fan.:D It's actually the only football I'll watch. If you live anywhere in east TN and aren't a Vols fan you could get really hurt, ya know. And since my husband was going to UT when I met him, I'll probably always be a Vols fan. You'll still talk to me though, won't you? :(

Lol I'm joking, but I will tell you this, if you are a stinkin tack fan, we can never get along, that's just not possible. I HATE THE tacks.

The vols I can handle.

Whew.... that was close. We can still get along, because the Vols are all I know in football. No other teams lurking anywhere.... just the Vols. And I promise not to rub it in when we whip the Gators! :D (just kidding....)

No, never got into them like the Vols. The whole vols fan thing is the high pitched frenzy everyone around here gets caught up in come fall. It's just crazy and you can't help but let it rub off on you, even if you're like me and can't stand football on a normal basis. I mean all they do is run fall down, run fall down, run fall down and repeat that for 4 hours. I will sit and watch the vols with my hubby and kids though. And we'll go to a couple of games at the stadium... Now that's an experience. Crazy people there!! My favorite part of the game is when they score a touchdown and shoot off the cannon. You can hear it all over town.

I grew up it Utah. I'll agree, the Rockies make the smokie's look like hills. Very beautiful hills but still hills.

Here is a pic out the front door of my parents home. Not the best pic of the Rockies but gives an Idea. That peak is just short of 10,000.

I'm in Vancouver, WA. Just south of Mt St Helens. We were up there Monday and it was steaming away. It's kind of a mountain, more like half a mountain.

Here's a good pic of what the eruption did. This stump is about 4 feet in Diameter. When the blast hit the trees it was so fast and hot they exploded leaving the stumps and sections of logs.

you can see by the flowers, that the area is starting to grow back.

Enjoy

Yes, I know the Rockies are bigger than the Smokies but like you said the Smokies are still beautiful. Both the Rockies and Smokies are majestic in their own right. I can't wait to get back out west on vacation one more time. But my daughter informed me she'd rather go to "Mall of America" than the Rockie Mountains....kids!
