The "mold" on the shell is most likely algae, which wild turtles often have.
You said on another post that a dog was chewing on her? If so, before you release her in a safe place near to where you found her, make sure she doesn't have any serious injuries. If you're unsure, contact the Dept of Environmental Protection in your state and ask for the name of a wildlife rehabilitator or wildlife clinic she could be brought to.
