it looks like it's a scab or something,
or like his skin is rotting?


any ideas?

my turtle has the same thing. i don't know what it is either.

yes, i have another res with her.
i havn't noticed any signs of aggression or anything.
so i'm pretty sure the other turtle didn't hurt her..

i just checked my turtle this morning...the brown stuff seems to be disappearing

I would probably wipe the area with diluted betadine or chlorhexidine and let it dry for a couple of hours. If the area is a wound, then I would also apply some neosporin to the area when it is dry and dry dock a little more.
