Say Mom I understand that you do like the tank where it is now , and that is a reason you don't like them . So what if I move the tank into my room . I promise you would not even see them . And add, and if Do this it would give me a reason to keep my room clean.

haha i do backtalk my mom and that gets me nowhere! but thats what i thought, get a nice setup. so i figured im just going to do whatever the hell i need to without telling her, and we'll see how it goes.

My husband is very much how Untsmurf describes hers! And I feel very lucky, too!

He shakes his head sometimes when I start gushing about how cool Sheldon is...but he knew when he met me that I was a total animal lover!

My mom was always very supportive of my diverse pets growing up, too - - she is a softie at heart, like me!

lol same here. my boyfriend has to listen to me talk abouit how awesome wall-e is and how cute he is and how he is the greatest turtle in the world and that his tank is so nice and he agrees! idk if that when we live together he will like it too much me spoiling wall-e.

and my mom loves my wall-e... even tho she thinks she knows about turtles more then me.

Everyone makes fun of me because I've spent so much money on him. About $200! And that I alway want to talk to someone about my turtle but everyone makes fun of me except for yall because yall have turtle to.

My wife bought my turtles for me as a anniversary gift...She knew I wanted some....She spent $130 right then and we thought that was all we needed...When I told her of the things I would need from reading this site she was more than supportive...She spent a lot more money on them since and we are getting a 75 bgallon tank soon...She even helps with cleaning and decorating their tank

My anniversary present from hubby this year was the 75 gallon and the filter (also where our economic stimulus package went.....thought we were getting $1200 and when it came it was $600...whoops!)

me and my boyfriend love love love our turtles like sooo much and we constantly hook them up with awesome stuff...i have like 4 kinds of treats i dont give it to them like all day but every penny i spend is sooo worth it because in the end you want your turtle be healthy and have a healthy lifestyle ..i have a female soo i get to deal with eggs later on...sooo excited!!!
