One of turtle baby's shell is really dark..

I am hoping he/she is healthy and not suffering from some kind of shell problem...

I have been reading too much about problems on here

i cant really see anything wrong with its shell but its eyes look a bit swollen. it could just be the pic though

AHHHHH swollen eyes???

Is the light too close to the dock?

might need to move it up a bit. it looks like you have a tank screen and if thats so then alot of UVB is being blocked by the screen. how hot is the basking platform? if the water is too warm they wont want to bask

I'm not sure of the bask temp...they bask quite often though

Just set your temp probe on the basking dock for about 15 minutes.

The eyes don't look swollen too me, but it could just be the angle.

The turtle looks great to me. Turtles come in different shades, you just got one of each :wink:

I also see that both your babies have pretty and healthy shell. They both look good.
