Habitat - Indoor :: My Final tank setup... For a few years anyways

Hello, here are some pictures of my setup for my red ear slider. he/she is 2" long and alot of fun... although he did manage to escape yesterday... thus the egg crate screen where he go out.

so here is the setup

40 gallon breeder
250 watt heater
fluval 305 canister filter
Above tank basking area
9 plastic plants
Resting area
bubbler

I really think he enjoys himself in there.

Well, it is just a 3" bubble disc from petsmart. I would have spent the extra money and got the biggest one they sell. they go up to like 7" i think.

And the above tank basking area i just made out of plexy glass and and a heat gun to bend it.

oh nice!! what did you use to cut holes in the Plexiglas & what are those green things that are attaching them together?

This is the air pump i have.

It is soooo quite the bubbles breaking the surface of the water is louder.

And i just drilled holes in the plexy glass with a drill. i went really slow so they would not break. And those little green things are zip ties
