I think Kroten's color is fine for a pastel but I'm concerned about the whitish spots on her shell - especially those on her plastron though there are also some on her carapace. Is she being treated for shell rot?

Spotmama>> well, kroten had never eaten cuttlebone up to two months ago...she ate a lot now, so I'm hoping a bit of change will happen to her shell. few weeks after I bought her, I started noticing her soft shell....but I like her already so I didn't want to return her.

so how should I treat her shell??

About the white spots - do they seem to be on the surface or do they seem to be eating down into the shell? Is the surface smooth over the white spots or is it indented?

And you are correct - you can't breed two females.

the white spot happened after she lose her shell...there are soft shell near her hind legs and than it was peeled out and the white spot was there. It is indented.
