Alright, so im going to buy a new stand for my new 65 gallon tank. The dimension of the tank is 36.5 X 18.5 X 24. Should i get a stand that's 36X18 or one that's 48 X18?

Up to you. My tank just barely fits the desk it's living on, so if you go with the smaller one, make sure the tank can't tip over and go to Walmart and buy that non-stick rubber stuff to put under the tank for added security. You can also check with the pet store people for advice on which size.

Just get the 36.5x18.5x24. Unless you plan on getting like a 90 gallon sometime soon.
