General Care Discussion :: New tank; basking takes longer?

Just recently I've gotten Ichmeler a new tank and worked hard on the basking area. I dont see him bask at all. I did just raise my basking area temperature and lower the water temperature a little bit, maybe that will help him bask more often...
He is eating normally and swimming like a champ, so nothing wrong with that.

umm same me here. but i solved it after i not see my turtle a while. look at the small hole in door. and i look my turtle bask, after i come, he swim and run to the water again. its normal

It could take some time to adjust, you might just want to cover the side for some extra privacy.

it just takes awhile to adjust to the new tank
