Habitat - Indoor :: Canister filter output is horrible

I'm hoping anyone can give me some suggestions.

I have a 75 gallon tank with 3 sliders currently.

My problem lies in my 2 canister filters, both of which are Penn Plax Cascade 700's.

I do not have a lot of excess line running from the filters into the tank

I have one on each end of the tank. The tank was just given a complete cleaning last week friday. Cleaned out the filters and the hoses, removed all the built up algee in them and the output was fine.

Come to today, the output pressure is less than half of what it was when its cleaned.. and it even seems like its input to capture the waste that hits the bottom is also pretty bad.

Any suggestions or ideas on what the problem might be?

What sort of media do you have in there? Things like polish pads or fine filter floss can clog pretty quickly and reduce flow.
