Today, I have Sam a little treat of tuna after doing some tank maintenance. He seemed a little scarred with my whole arm in the tank moving some stuff around and what not, so I gave him an extra special treat of tuna.

First he would flutter it for just a second, then he would bite it, and eat it. I thought it was really strange, because this is the first time he has ever done it.

May have been a display of Dominance, I've seen them flutter at Rocks, powerheads, but that is a first for food!

Someone on here once posted about her turtle fluttering at one of those switches on the clamp lamp chords.

I've only seen my turtles flutter at each other. They seemed to hold off on that today though... It's funny when I wave to Typhoon, she swims up to me and holds her feet by her face, but doesn't flutter. She also likes to wiggle her toes a lot.
