uh.....i recommend not getting more than 1 res, as it can get very costy (i'm not the one to talk, my dad asked my sister if she wanted one of those cute green turtles too), but remember, you will literally double your costs, and it is a pain in the butuma.

ok, could you calm down? they end up costing alot if you want them to be happy, we should let them thrive, not mearly survive (thanks from someones sig), you would be getting in way over your head, from the way you put it, you sound like they are in poor conditions, i havent seen anything perfect for $85, it sounds like an underspend.

Ok, calm down. What everyone here is trying to say is that turts are a big responsibility and can be quite expensive. I have 2 res and a box turtle right now and just for the res in the last year I've spent over $1000. You're right about the food being cheap but that's really all that is. Any time you have more than one turtle, you have to be prepared to separate them permanently if there is any aggression. Mine get along now, but that doesn't mean they always will.

You're getting good advice here. I don't know how many turts you have right now, but you should just concentrate on giving them the best care possible instead of just getting more. In addition to what I've already spent, I'm looking at spending about another $500 or so next week for their new, and final setup.

Would you quit with the caps please? That's the equivalent of yelling on a message board, k? Nobody said it was your permanent setup. There were no insults or personal attacks on you so relax. People here are trying to give you what seems like much needed advice.
