Yes. Within the first year, turtles usually get to be 3''-4'' in SCL.

If you have the tanks already, you can set up the biggest one now. There's nothing wrong with providing a smaller turtle with a larger tank. Just think of what they get in the wild

WOw~! Your turtles looks great. both looks great and healthy.

I offered veggies to my babies since they hatchlings (aftet 2 3 weeks) and until now I don't have any problem to give them veggies.. they can go crazy when see the green leaves :D

I always put cuttlebone everytime everyday.. I know they will eat the cuttlebone anytime they like. No force :P hihi

So do you think that bigger turtle has made a big improvement?

Im going to setup my 4ft tank now, keep it running for a couple months maybe, then setup my 6x2x2 at mid next year, im going to use that for fish at the moment.

So about 3-4 inches at a year old?

I got my turtles around late January, they would of been 1.5inch, So this January coming would mean that they are one year old?

Thanks.

P.S. Does anybody have any good setup and care sheets of Chinese Soft Shell turtles?

Thanks.

Hi all, ive moved the 2 RES into a 4ft tank, they love it, i noticed they are always looking at each other and following each other around lol.

I put about 7inches of water in there and im going to raise it gradually.

I had only 4inches or so in their 2ft tank.

Theyre already basking in their new tank haha shouljd i give them 2 basking platforms? They share it fine, but i thought maybe it would be preferable?

Thanks.
