It looks like you've got a great setup.

Do you have any thermometers? I check the water/air temperature when I feed them or when I'm just walking by I'll take a look. It never changes, but if my heater takes a dump for any reason I want to know asap.

I use two probe thermometers to keep my temps in check. I like to always know what the temps are. Its a peace of mind for me. The filter will have to be upgraded as the turtle starts to eat more and make a bigger mess. Keep in ming the rocks can trap debris and waste. Insure to clean the bottom regularly. What kind of lights you running? I only saw one fixture. Nice setup tho.

rsour -- Could you possibly shrink your avatar? The large size is making us scroll to the side to read the posts.

The tank setup should, have a UVB and a heat lamp. Turtles can hide their illness very well. Sometimes you don't notice anything wrong with them until its too late. I have heard of people having a turtle without the uvb lights but I have never seen pics of the animals. In nature they spend alot of time basking under the sun so I provide mine with the same as if it was basking under the sun. Plenty of rays and heat. I use the thermometers to see if I have everything set right. I use a water heater to keep the temp from fluactuating too much. If it gets hot where your tank is placed during the day the temp can rise then at night it cools. Too much of a flauctuation could lead to illness. I would recommend a heater;) Good luck
