Anyone know how these work for bigger turtles? I was thinking about getting one when Penelope outgrows her dock. They look to be much better than a dock. Prettier too!!

Munkly - He's only about 5 inches right now and using the large sized turtle dock which is working out fine for now but thought this would be great once he's bigger!!

hmm i think ... if u already hv a large sized turtle dock and u want to switch to turtle bank large size when yr turtle over grows the dock ... then yr bank wont last tht long either! ... now im not sure about tht because i dont knw how much yr turtle will weight then .... but def. the bank looks more natural and magnets r better then suction cups :)

Is that the dock with the magnets? i have the one with the magnets and my turtles have a hard time getting on it. My turtles are bigger than yours, and the dock is a little smaller. Does your turtle have troubles getting on that basking dock?

Once the turtles get heavier, docks don't work anymore because they sink it with their weight and don't ever get completely out of the water.
At that point you build your own ATBA.
