its shell used to be so green and it looks like the color is fading away form the top of its shell (near its head) and turning almost white

Not sure what the color thing is all about but it looks like he/she is growing fast which isnt quite good. I only come to that conclusion because the shell has what appear to be wider than normal seams.

well the whiteness is like on the edge of its shell towards the head and it feels soft too...you can probably tell more if i show a before and after picture to see what im talking about...

What's your setup like? What's the feeding schedule and list? Healthy shell
requires adequate dry time and UVB apart from sufficient nutrients and minerals.

okay that doesnt really seem like anything bad

to me it just looks like air pockets. with dirt in them. meaning those scutes are ready to shed. which seems fine to

oh and if that turtle is a hatchling, its expected for the turtle's shell to be soft. as a grown turtle and its shell isnt hard then theres a problem.

but those scutes look like they should shed. do they have a smell? is it givng out a discharge? what does it look like dry?

If it's soft in that area, it's possible your turt isn't getting enough dry time.

What are you water and basking temperatures?

Soft spots on turtle shells are never good (unless it's a soft shelled turtle )

my guess is that your turtle needs more basking/UVB light.

My turtles shells look's like that also but it is not soft.

Can to much basking be a problem,I looked closely at my turtles shell today and it just looks dry. Or could it be from the shell being to close to the UVB bulb just some ideas I thought of.

Sorry, but I don't know what it could be. It's highly doubtful its caused by too much basking or UVB.

Seems like your turtle it going to shed, I don't think too much basking could be an issue, if anything let it continue basking and those scutes will probably start coming off soon!
