Feeding and Nutrition :: Turtle Delite

A week ago my grandma was over

and i showed her my turtle and she was holding him

i was really surprised she would touch him

and a few days later she phoned and said she purchased some turtle treats for me haha

my grandmas so cute..and i picked up the treats today

they are wardley turtle delite dried whole shrimp

has anyone ever used these?

if i feed him one is it a substitute for the turtle sticks?

or is it an extra treat

I want to get my turtles some treats I consider a fish a treat tho so they get plenty of that...

Shrimps are treats, such as fishes. Anything high in protein are treats.

I feed these to my RES's once in a while... I'll usually just throw some in as an addition to their normal diet.

thats what grandparents are for lol. my grandparents wont even go into my turtle room (yea right now he has his own room because he lives with my parents) and my mom spoils him to bits.

He enjoys them

they are kinda tough for him to break apart

and he has to rip it apart with his hands

but he gets it haha
