Hello! Here are some pics of my RES! Like I noted in my first couple of posts here, we are new to the site and have learned a lot in the past few weeks! So we are making changes in taking care of our RES, as we have been doing somethings wrong here and there.

Well this is our tank back in April of 05. This is OJ and sunflower as 1" babies (notice the neon tetras, the ones they ATE...lol):

These are the new 1.5" hatchlings. Ones a RES and the other is a YBS:

Feel free to give us any pointers. I will post some better pics later on. Some that were taken during the daytime. The room they are in doesn't have a light yet. We just moved in...lol! Come to think of it when they get there new Aquarium and setup next week they will be livng in the living room where they will see some traffic through the house and will not be as paranoid hopefully!

Nice turtles. :) They look so cute.

If you haven't done so already I'd remove the small gravel from the tank. (hard to tell if you have in the later pics) It could cause very serious health problems if ingested by the turtles.

realy nice pics but the fish in the tank can be bad for the little guys. For the reason some treated some chem's that can be harmful if eaten... minnows are good and feeder fish of size and age... but of luck on your family of turtles they look happy been their on their floating log...

I could be mistaken, but the fish in the tank appear to be feeder fish...they look just like what I have in my tank.
