I read that we can feed turtles squash, but do we have to cook it first?

You don't have to but you can steam it if it makes it easier to eat or more enticing.

We bought zucchini and tried it both ways.
Bowser liked the steamed better, but still wasn't too interested.
I think she was just full after trying so many different veggies.
We tried collard greens and at first she didn't like them, but once they fell to the bottom she cleaned 'em up! :D


A funny story from last night...
I went to hand feed her a treat and she knocked it out of my fingers, ignored it, and focused on my hovering hand.
She tried so hard to reach that she splashed me...in the face.
I promptly washed my face with hot water and soap. LOL

LOL, I love it when they splash water all over. I always joke that I need a raincoat to feed Sheba. :D
