My Turtle, Samus, loves this plant. He often balances on the rock to sleep with an air bubble over his nose. When he is awake, he likes to spread out on the plant tops to get some air.

Cute pic, but I have to ask---is that lava rock? If so, to me it's awfully abrasive, even if it is submerged in water...

Actually, I don't know what the rock is made of. It's porous, but does not feel rough to me.
