That is so precious!
My fiance's nephew has ANOTHER turtle, one that is just a hatchling. This is in addition to Dozer, who was found as a hatchling last year and is now about 4 inches. Anyway, Dozer likes to bite at ANYTHING now. You can hold your finger above the tank and he (err..she, really) will jump up and bite! Little guy didn't grow for a while due to cold water and no UVB light, but since the upgrade (s)he has grown so much! Miss Bowser (now 7.5 inches!) used to bite at anything when she was that size, but she's smarter now and just gives you a look like "Really? How dumb do I look?"
Check out a couple of videos of when we first got Bowser....she was just under 4 inches:

I can put a glove on and she doesn't care too much, by sit on the floor and put your toe (only with socks on!) to the tank and she will follow it. It is her life mission.
