Yeah, mine does it and will shred her turds into a thousand pieces.

I noticed that since my plecco is no longer with Filbert, he goes after his own poo. I'm not sure if he's consuming it, but he still breaks it up and makes a mess. :(

Sliders do eat their own poo and any other turtles poo that may be in the tank. They are liberals and recycle anything that is in the aquarium. Apparently there is some food value in the poo.

My female "recycles" everything, however, my male will only eat certain brands of turtle food and his favorite "veggie/fruit."
