Some pictures I've just taken randomly(hopefully I haven't posted any of them already  )

These aren't in any sequencial order so  :
Image
Sorry for the light in the background, forgot to close those blinds  . Also, that black thing is the filter, but i've moved it over to the corner now, instead of the middle.

Image
She's alittle heavy, so her dock kinda tilts underwater abit when she's on it  . It's meant for turtles 3"-5" long, 4"wide, but we don't have bigger sizes, so i'll have to make a new one soon

Image
It can't be seen, but she was eating shrimp and I happened to catch this funny pic :) (don't mind the bare-bottom, I have some river rocks in there, but she pushes them to the side :? )

Image
She was looking outside at the birds. I think she was hungry

Image
Her shell started to shed after this pic was taken, probably why it looks kind of ashy :?

Sorry if the pictures aren't that crisp or clear, I use my phone to take pictures of her, so no world-class photography i'm afraid :(

Great pics! Have you ever tried sand in the bottom of the tank? Mine like to push all the sand to one side. It use to bother me but my little ferret likes to get up under the tank and watch them :). Are you going to build an ATBA now that she has outgrown her basking dock? I had one of those ZooMed ones years ago and my girls use to stack on top of each other on it.. weighing it down. Needless to say, the one on the bottom was submerged lol. Had that stupid thing for like 2 days and got rid of it

Thanks :D . I'm not so sure my pet store sells "turtle safe" sand, but if so, I wouldn't mind getting some. I know I want an ATBA, just not yet, because I don't have time to construct one and we don't have any for sale,so unfortunately it'll be awhile. :?

Any play sand will work, or even pool filter sand. You just need to wash it to get the fine grains out, also sometimes the playsand needs to be strained at first to get any little stones out.

Beautiful turtle by the way :D

Na dont get it from a pet store...get it from a home improvement store or walmart...much cheaper and works just as well. just make sure you read the sand FAQ firs to learn how to rinse it.

Yep i suggest a hardware type store or walmart type store, the stuff from a pet store is very expensive. You can get a 25 lb bag at the other stores for like 5 dollars.

Trust me the home depot sand is much nicer then the walmart sand, the walmart sand for some reason has these big rocks in it, pain to get them all out.

I took some more pics today :D .

Again, these aren't really in any sequencial order, though it may seem that way :P .

Image
She popped out for that lettuce lol.

Image
Sorry for the fuzzy quality(phone pics). She was ripping that lettuce to shreds :/ lol .

Image
She was peeping at me when I was "innocently" walking across her tank ;) .

Image
Lol, I swear if she had hair, she would be flipping it in this pic.

Image
Honestly, I'm alittle concerned about this tiny white spot that appeared. It wasn't there a week ago and just seemed to "appear":/, and the green stuff too(though, that comes off easy with a good brushing  )

Image
She was looking at me like; "oh great, your here again  " lol.
~
About that white spot, I'm not quite sure how it got there or what it is, but its alittle concerning, as it wasn't there a week ago. I didn't want to go and buy medicine, incase it was just a passing thing, but it hasn't gone away, do you think I should? :? .

On another note: please don't mind the occasional wire in the background, its just the filter :P (I've hidden the heater's wire >:) ). Also, I have not found any -cheap- sand (a 10lbs bag is like 10$ here lol. Very high prices here compared to america :? ), and to be honest I don't know how much I need  .
Although I did manage to buy a few "aquarium things" off a local website (much like ebay or craigslist) for just 30$. I got that big rock in the background(5$), the plants in it(fake-5$, real-10$(Sora ate the real ones-took forever to grow them(java fern and amazon sword) :( ) and 10$ for a reptile lamp, that appearantly is meant for lizards/geckos or w/e. My old uvb lamp is good for now though ;) , atleast I'm ready to heat up my lizard if I ever get one

looks like minor shell rot or something like that, im no expert but it might be due to the basking platform, she needs to be able to dry off all the way.
Other than that little spot though she looks awesome! How old is she and how big?

Shell rot? :o , I'd better get started on that new dock :? . She gets pretty much all dry except for her back feet and tail, and the scutes under her tail. She's three years old(had her for two though) tomorrow :) and she's currently 7.3" .

Honestly would need better pictures to determine what it is. Please take some pictures of her out of her tank and dry to help diagnose what it could be.
