I am hoping one is a female. Here are my RES in a 10 gallon tank. I originally has just one RES but friend gave up his so now it's mine.

Going to upgrade to a 75 gallon tank soon. Gotta get like everything all over again. Filters and basking lamps.

i think its pretty hard to sex them when theyre that little. You gotta get rid of that gravel too! thats very risky

I think when I upgrade the tank to 75 gallon, the gravel will be history

How big are they now? As mentioned above, you can't accurately sex them when they're small.

The bigger one that I adopted from a friend is about 3-4 inches. The smaller one is about 2 inches. Haven't measured them yet but that is an estimate. I'll probably measure them next time I take them out to clean the tank and change the water.
