This museum has the largest collection of live tortoises and turtles in the world. Some were rescued, some were donated, some were bought. It's an eye opener for my kids to see them live than the pictures on line. There were lots of oohs and ahhs and the feeding frenzy was real awesome cos you get to see really big RES that we never thought they would grow so big. Looks like we may need multiple big tanks for 3 of our own :p The snapping turtle was like a throwback to the dino age or some offshoot of Power Rangers alien robots lol There were lots of snout nosed turtles in the tanks but one lost his leg cos of some human's cruelty but he swims well with his 3 webbed feet. There is a 6 feet tortoise but the 2 addn feet is not like normal feet, just two stumps with claws attached to the side. Unless you get up close amongst all the hungry turtles, you can see it clearly. There was an 80 year old largest tortoise there, and it has become an icon of the wishing well lol

a few more pictures has been added : http://s1111.photobucket.com/albums/h47 ... %20Museum/
Kids and I are heading back again. I've promised to help the owners to do a write up on the different tortoises in the museum, to educate kids and the public likewise. I hope my kids' school would be open to visiting the museum cos they run on their own funds to keep it running for the gazzilions turtles and tortoises. Cheers.

Hi siranlea, i'm from Singapore too :D
The place does have a large collection of turtles and tortoises, but the only downside is that most turtles are kept in small tanks with shallow water and no place to bask :(
