Feeding and Nutrition :: I checked everywhere, I can't find an answer?

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Or maybe I'm just not good at searching? Lol.

So here is my issue.
I got 2 baby RES for a month now. They look pretty healthy.
I set up my tank the best I could according to the pet shop and what I read.
Water heater, a lot of space to swim, bask area, hot lamp, UV lamp, good filter, no gravel, ...

One of the RES is a real glutton. Rush out as soon as he sees food.
The other one is always sleeping and basking, don't care for food. Doesn't eat much, at all.
The glutton one is getting bigger pretty fast, the always basking one is still pretty much as small as one month ago.
Is this an acceptable and healthy behavior for the turtle that does not eat much.

1. And yea, sometime I pick up the smaller turtle separatly and put him in a lookalike tupperware with water and put food in it. He does not care about the food flotting around him -_-.
2. I give them pellet at the moment : Nutrifin Max

Thank you !!

He might possiably be sick, did you try offering any live food to the turtle like worms or dried shrimp which bright orange coloring attracts them. Id try that to see if you can get him to eat. What you described is nit normal behavior at all.

I really hope he's not sick...

I will buy some of the food you suggested and try to see if he's going to eat.

You might have to take the one that is eating out of the tank while you feed the other one. Live feeder fish also works well.

I agree, try some livelier food to get the process going again, and feed the shy one in the tank so that it's not having to deal with the shock of a new environment.
