Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

This isn't too much of a concern... but i was wondering if your guys' water in your turtles tanks evaporates as fast as mine does?

In about two days my baby turtle can't get onto his Basking rock because too much water has left the tank.
Is that unusual??

depends. how much water "evaporated"?
pictures /a drawing would help a lot.
my aquarium water evaporates too, so i just add water accordingly .
(i try to add the water at night and by the filter outlet so the water kinda blends in)

It will also depend on where you live too. If you live in a dry area your water will evaporate a lot faster than in a humid area. A humidifier in your room might help a little.

In my area, I need to top off the tank more during the winter.
