Squirtle is 3 years old. She is very energetic and likes to eat Mangoes and Green leaf lettuce. She's a high dive pro and likes to spend all day basking.

thanks! yeah, I've read that some turtles have a tendency to eat gravel in their tanks, but Squirtle's much too smart for that

i guarantee if you take the gravel out of the tank the next day you will find some left behind by your turtle.
its always safer to just take it out. just because you dont see her eating doesnt mean she isnt

Yeah ditto on the gravel.

Mini lectures on this forum are extremely rare, but gravel is a hot spot, so don't let us scare ya off
I bet Squirtle is quite smart...probably smart enough to eat it when you aren't lookin lol
