Are his eyes swollen and red? U should give him Vitamin E. My Desmond had the same problem once. Brought him to the vet and they gave him a vitamin shot. He could open his eye after 2 days. U should really stick to the pellets. I had trouble with switching to pellets initially but once he got hungry after a week or so, he gave in to the pellets.

Good luck

Get this for swollen eyes. It costs about $5 and can save you the trouble and expense of taking it to a vet. I used it on hatchlings a few years ago and
it worked perfectly and I haven't had to use it again since.

For food try feeding it fully cooked boiled chicken breast meat. Then switch off to pellets once it starts eating again.

I agree, get him to eat something, it doesn't have to be pellets right now.

What kind of meat did he eat? Live prey, tuna, worms are options. Are you certain about the lopsided swimming? How is his coordination? Most of his problems are related to not eating, making him increasingly weak.

Give the live fish a try. Hold it by the tail and let him snatch it.

Are you holding it for him? Letting it wiggle? Are his eyes open?
