My turtle doesn't do this. A vet visit would be good. Out of curiosity, what is the diet like?

I'd still take her to the vet. And I'd increase the calcium in her diet.

Have you noticed any tiny bugs around the tank/water? Have you let your turtle out of the tank to walk around at all?

The raw neck doesn't sound very good. Are you doing anything for it? I'd wash the area (no soap), put some Neosporin on it, keep your turtle out of the water for a bit (about 30 min.) to let it be absorbed. Keep the tank water super clean as well.

If it continues, I'd take the turtle to a herp vet.
