That's a good price, but I'd ask for a picture. They make no mention of what a "complete turtle set up" is. Make sure you check it out yourself make sure it holds water and the seals look good and the turtles are healthy.

The price sounds good, but you definitely need to check the quality of the tank. Like Devil Duck said you ought to know what peripherals are included in 'complete turtle setup' too. So vague. Some people don't even realize they need lights.

You plan on putting it inside or outside? Are you going to use your old lights or buy new ones? This tank was made to go outside.

It doesn't have to be outside, and I would be concerned about any of the weathering it's endured. Plus 2 turtles... the person selling probably doesn't want you to rehome to some stranger... keeping an additional pair of RES is a lot of work.

I don't think he cares, Steve. He has been banned from another forum, and doesn't seem to listen to anything anyone says.

Well if your willing to put in some work and take or re-home the turtles, this maybe a decent deal. I'd haggle and see if you can get it for less. Major points of concern are possible weathering/sun damage and that jury rigged filter setup.

1. Check the stand and the aquarium, for weathering damage. You might need to reinforce or re-finish the stand.
2. The filter setup, which is a water pump connected to a pond filter, maybe too loud for indoor use. Seeing how algae choked that tank it, I suspect the filter will need a good cleaning too.
3. You'll need to buy UVB and heat lamps for indoor use.
