Ok here are the pics. I took a couple of him next to his brother/sister Dog. They're the same age and possibly from the same clutch but Poe is half the size and he's looking pretty rough. Some of the pics are fuzzy but you can see the shell curling and the plastron seems to actually be convex rather than flat or concave. He's also got some pyramiding already. Dog has already developed his hinge and is getting color to his face and legs. Poe looks like a dried prune in comparison. If anyone has any idea if/how this can be reversed I'd like input.

Poor little thing. It hurts to see them not taken care of like that. The comparison shot says it all. I've always liked boxies but I don't know anything on raising them or I'd help you out there. Surely with you caring for him now he will begin to improve somewhat although how much is irreversible has to be seen down the road.

Ok, you've explained the other turtles names, why and how did you come up with the name Poe? For Edgar Allen or some other reason??

Actually, one of my favourite actors is Nicolas Cage. My favourite movie is Con Air. Nick's character in the movie was Cameron Poe
