Urgh, my turtle dock is turning weird brown color, and i just got it.Why, and how can I stop this?

Also, do turtle pellets have enough calcium in them?

could be algea...use a soft brush to scrub it. On the other hand, I just let mine grow. It doesn't bother me and it looks natural. I do brush some off every so often, but it's your choice.

Most people add calcium suppliment, either through gut loaded crickets, or other bugs, or through cuttlebone. It's found in the bird section, and you peel the hard backing off. Break it in small chunks and drop it in. Mine love it.
